Mohamed Moumni.

Born and raised in Youssoufia, Morocco — Mohamed Moumni developed a photographic eye in the spaces between stillness and movement. Working between documentary and fine-art, his practice is built on patient observation: the geometry of a doorway, the way light falls on a market stall, a stranger's gaze held for half a second too long.

His images resist spectacle. They are quiet, precise, and made with the kind of attention that turns the ordinary into something permanent.

Based between Youssoufia and wherever the work takes him — he shoots film and digital, alone, early in the morning.
