Mohamed Moumni.

Mohamed Moumni was born in 1964 in Youssoufia, Morocco. He is an artist photographer and a darkroom technician, working in both the making of images and the craft of the darkroom.

His commitment to photography goes beyond his own work. He is an executive member of the Moroccan Association of Photographic Art (AMAP) and the founding president of the Youssoufia Photographic Art Club. Between 1994 and 2004, he was also an active member of The Royal Photographic Society (RPS) in Great Britain.

Alongside photography, he has taken on leadership roles in the civic and cultural life of his city. He is the founding president of the Young Entrepreneurs Association in Youssoufia, a founding member and president of the Association for Local Development Initiatives in Youssoufia, and the director of two Maghreb gatherings: one on "Mining Literature" and one on "Popular Literature".

Today, he works from Youssoufia, Morocco.
